The Embassy of Portugal in Zagreb will be closed from de 30th of november until the 1st of december. 

The Embassy of Portugal to Croatia informs that a procedure for recruitment of one residence assistant (cook) is now open. The deadline for applications is November 11, 2020.

1 – Workplace: Embassy of Portugal to Croatia (Ulica Ante Kovačića 3/I, 10000 Zagreb);

2 – Type of contract: Portuguese civil service employment contract, for indefinite term;

3 – Mandatory requirements: the requirements mentioned in article 17 of Law number 35/2014, of June 20, with exception of Portuguese nationality, as stated in Decree-Law number 47/2013, of April 5;

4 – Other mandatory requirements:

a) Residence permit or residence statute in Croatia and fiscal and social security obligations up to date at the beginning of the contract. Referring to article 5 of Decree-Law number 47/2013, of April, the compliance with these criteria can be demonstrated at a later moment;

b) Mandatory school certificate. Applications from candidates with a lower education degree will not be accepted;

5 – Gross monthly salary: € 556,67;

6 – Necessary documents:

a) Application in English or Portuguese language, in accordance to the form displayed here, with relevant personal information (name, marital state, date of birth, citizenship, ID card number or equivalent, social security number or equivalent, residence, postal code, telephone and e-mail contacts), education degree and job vacancy that the candidate applies to;

b) Signed CV, in English language;

c) Simple and legible copy of certificate that demonstrates the education level;

d) Simple and legible copy of other relevant training for the job vacancy;

d) Simple and legible copy of ID card or equivalent;

e) Criminal record of the country of residence;

f) Letter of recommendation of former employer.

7 – Applications:

7 – Selection methods:

a) CV evaluation (50%), with the objective of analyzing the professional aptitude of applicants, considering their professional CV and annexed documents. In the CV evaluation, will be considered the following aspects:

- Education degree;

- Relevant professional training for the job vacancy;

- Previous working experience;

b) Professional interview (50%), will evaluate objectively the professional aptitudes and behavior of applicants, as well as their proficiency in the languages mentioned in number 4, c).

8 – Jury:

- President: First Secretary Rodrigo Carlos Sousa Leite Lobo d’Ávila;

- Other members: Ms. Meri Grubić and Ms. Maria José Ferreira Homem Ribeiro.

9 – Applications:

Applications should be submitted until November 11  with the form mentioned in number 6, a) through registered mail with reception notice to the following address: Ulica Ante Kovačića, 3/I, 10000 Zagreb or by email to the address rececao.zagreb@mne.pt.

10 – Notifications: all notifications to approved or excluded applicants, including notifications for eventual complaints about the procedure, will be done by e-mail with reception notice or through notice posted both in a public place of the Embassy of Portugal and in the official website of the Embassy, https://www.zagreb.embaixadaportugal.mne.pt/.
