On Friday, June 4, 2021, at 9 pm, a concert by the charismatic Portuguese fado singer Ana Laíns will take place in front of the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb (Trg Republike Hrvatske 15).
This event, promoted by the Portuguese Embassy in Zagreb, in cooperation with the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb, aims to mark the Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities, as well as the final chapter of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
'Mátria Lingua' is the name of an intimate play in which the artist will be accompanied by talented performers: Paulo Loureiro (piano), Carlos Lopes (accordion) and Bruno Chaveiro (Portuguese guitar), who will take us through a musical-poetic journey through Portugal, introducing the greatest fado poets of the Portuguese language.
